I took charge as Deputy Registrar of INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY, Regional Centre Delhi-2 on 26th February 2024. I was instrumental in enhancing the Gross Enrollment Ratio of the students and also an active academic and finance person who has earned 05 masters Degrees with M.Phil., Ph.D. (Pursuing), UGC-NET in Management. Before joining as Assistant Registrar of IGNOU Regional Centre, Panaji. I have worked as Dy. Manager of the State Bank, at Delhi to serve as administrator and finance manager.
During my long stint at State bank, I have provided leadership, strategic planning, management and evaluation for financial matters. I was the active member in establishing the CBS (Core Banking Solution) any time any where banking for State Bank as Probationary Officer in Chandigarh zone including Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
My technical, theoretical and experiential background in the use of Finance and Administration to support Finance and Administration is substantiated by the fact that I have used to establish the Exim (Export –Import) software with TCS team at Commercial Branch of State Bank in Delhi for international financial transaction purposes.
As Assistant Registrar in IGNOU Panaji, I was looking after financial and establishment of the five districts which includes North Goa, South Goa (in the state of Goa), Belgaum, Dharwad, Karwar (in the state of Karnataka) & Sindhudurg (in the state of Maharashtra).
I have used my academically rich experience in open, distance and flexible learning, establishing and managing educational development systems at newly open Regional Centre at Panaji. I pursue for IGNOU land with Govt. of Goa during my Panaji posting as an Asst. Registrar.
I have served in the Student Evaluation Division as Assistant Registrar Examination for 05 years, the most challenging and responsible post which sanctity beyond the doubts.I was overall incharge of all activities of Examination in India and abroad(08 nations).
I have successfully performed as Assistant Registrar as General Administration & Public Information Officer of IGNOU at HQs for three years.
I have worked as Assistant Registrar, COE (Centre of Online Education) in IGNOU HQs, New Delhi for 03 years and also look after Govt. of India ambitious projects SWAYAM and SWAYAM Prabha in IGNOU for Diplomas and Certificates programmes and 05 channels of SWAYAM Prabha.
Before joining in IGNOU Regional Centre Delhi-2, I have worked in IGNOU RC Noida and Additional Charge of RC Aligarh as Assistant Registrar and looking after Finance and Administration of IGNOU Study Centres of Western UP covering 24 districts & 01 district of Delhi. My special contribution during Noida and Aligarh posting to built IGNOU Building (Centrally A.C.) with CPWD i.e. second permanent campus of IGNOU in Delhi-NCR after HQs within one and half years.
